Knoxville Nonprofits to Receive Pro Bono Communications & Marketing Support

We're excited to share a new offering for the nonprofits we support!

Laura Braden

Laura Braden, Knoxville native and owner of On Message, LLC, is donating a communications package worth $10,000-15,000, in support of the winner's mission and operations.

Each quarter, the selected nonprofit will choose and work with Laura on a 3-month project:

  • New/updated website

  • Three--month email marketing or advocacy campaign

  • Suite/toolkit of social media graphics, videos, and captions

  • New/updated logo and brand

  • 2025 communications plan

  • Audit of existing communications strategies with memo of recommendations

  • Integration of trauma-informed principles into communications and operations

From public affairs and community engagement to crisis communications and policy-based advocacy, Laura is a storyteller and problem solver with 20+ years of experience crafting and executing communications strategies for Fortune 10 companies, industry associations, political campaigns, and nonprofits.

She has worked on both sides of the political aisle, and her clients include BP (during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill), Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Consumer Technology Association, California Medical Association, ExxonMobil, Sacramento Kings (NBA), Launch Tennessee, and the Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice.

Funny story... Our chapter of 100 Women Who Care was inspired off a Facebook post of Laura at the Sacramento's chapter event way back in 2016. Pretty incredible full-circle-moment that she's moved back to Tennessee and is now helping our nonprofits!
